Recognising the opportunity to provide innovation and support to customers in the data erasure industry, Ziperase was formed to create a modern software platform with a forward-thinking support strategy focused on meeting customers’ needs.
Our Leadership
Khalid Elibiary
President
Khalid joined as president in 2020, bringing with him substantial leadership and software development experience and extensive knowledge of the data erasure industry. As former VP of customer experience at Blancco, Khalid worked closely with engineers and customers and is dedicated to building and integrating consumer satisfaction values into product strategy and development. While president at Tabernus, Khalid played a key role in shifting the company’s focus to data erasure, leading product strategy and development, research and development, and engineering across their data erasure portfolio. Khalid holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and an advanced degree from Georgia Tech.
Colin Myers
Chief Technology Officer
One of the founders of Ziperase in 2018, Colin is a software engineer with over 15 years of commercial experience in creating products for a global market. Formerly on the research and development team at Blancco and senior software engineer at Tabernus, Colin developed a strong interest in software productization, identifying the need for customer experience to play a defining role in each stage of the software lifecycle. Colin is a published computer scientist and holds a BSc Hons and a PhD in computer science from the University of Leeds, UK.
Jason Garel
Chief Operating Officer
Jason is co-founder of Ziperase and has nearly 20 years’ experience in integrated supply chain, operations, and product development. With former leadership roles at Applied Materials and Canon, Jason is skilled at defining streamlined procurements, logistics, production, and product support processes as well as building relationships with customers to achieve integrated solutions that suit their needs. Jason holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
Thomas Reid
Technical Product Manager
Thomas joined Ziperase in 2019 with considerable experience in customer support, product management, and software development. Formerly the technical lead for WipeDrive’s European sole distributor, he led the support team, providing invaluable insight and working closely with customers to produce technical requirements to suit their individual needs. Thomas was also product manager at Blancco and head of UK customer support at Tabernus, giving him over 10 years in the data erasure industry. He also has hands-on experience working at an ITAD, giving him insider knowledge of customer experience. Thomas holds a degree in chemistry from Durham University.
Joe Mount
Head of Sales
Joe joined Ziperase as head of sales in 2022 after more than 15 years in the technology industry. Formerly in management positions at Blancco, Tabernus, Dell Inc., and Applied Materials, Joe has developed exceptional skills in collaboration, business development, strategy, and sales, bringing outstanding operational leadership to the Ziperase team. Joe holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and served as an officer in the US Army.
